Polar Bound
Last week we carried out a sea trial on Polar Bound. Her owner David Cowper is about to set sail once again on adventures around the world. This incredible vessel is equipped to cope with the extremes of weather the planet can throw at her, including Sub Zero Arctic temperatures and the heat & humidity of the Tropics.
We have installed a Lithium Battery system on board along with a Victron Isolation Transformer and Multiplus Inverter Charger. A Color control monitors the system and David can monitor the state of his batteries on board by use of the Victron Connect App. To cope with the extremes we have designed a system that incudes back up systems to ensure the batteries stay healthy no mater what the conditions.
