Whitehaven Boatyard Marine Centre

Ten years ago we first started working at Whitehaven Marina, fixing electrics and engines. Three years later we moved into the Old Lock Building where we have been ever since. In that time our business has grown and we now have dealerships with Raymarine, Victron and Beta Marine. Whilst we supply and install new Beta Marine Generators and propulsion engines our main focus is on electrical and electronic systems mainly for boats but also power systems for mobile applications and off grid systems.

This year we are moving from our little box, the Old Lock Building, into the Boatyard Building. At the same time Boatwork & Aurora Marine Engineering are also moving in, creating a one stop destination for boat repairs and upgrades.  The two big under cover boat sheds are also available to rent from Whitehaven Marina.

These are exciting times for Whitehaven. The Boatyard will be come a one stop shop & centre of excellence for marine servicing and repairs, with each of the three businesses offering just about everything a boat owner could want. Within the town itself there are major developments including an innovation hub, a new 4* hotel just outside the boatyard, and new cafes, and bars where boat owners can relax while their boats are cared for in the Boatyard.

Within the Boat Yard complex we will be establishing our demonstration and research facility, where potential clients or those who are just interested can come along and see the latest technology in action. For more demanding clients we have the capability to research and develop systems from simple navigation systems to fully integrated power, navigation, and entertainment.

We specialise in Lithium Power Systems, and within this facility we can research, and test our designs. Even basic chart plotters are unpacked and tested before installation to ensure trouble free operation once installed.

This page will be updated over the coming months as the Boatyard Project gets underway. Why not check out the links below.
