Whitehaven Boatyard Marine Centre
In 2019 Whitehaven Boatyard welcomed three new tenants into the complex. We occupy the offices to the rear of the building, Whilst Boatwork Ltd & Aurora Marine Engineering occupy the two units at the side. The two large boatsheds are available to rent by boat length and day, so clients can carry out work on their boats whatever the weather,
These are exciting times for Whitehaven. The Boatyard will be come a one stop shop & centre of excellence for marine servicing and repairs, with each of the three businesses offering just about everything a boat owner could want. Within the town itself there are major developments including an innovation hub, a new 4* hotel just outside the boatyard, and new cafes, and bars where boat owners can relax while their boats are cared for in the Boatyard.

Within the Boat Yard complex we have a fully equipped workshop where we can test our designs, build systems, and carry out diagnostics and repairs. The demonstration equipment has been moved to our test boat BF2 and live data will eventually be viewable on line. In time and once the pandemic is under control we hope to be able to invite clients back to view the latest equipment and to chat about projects face to face over a coffee or cold beer.

We specialise in Lithium Power Systems, and within this facility we can research, and test our designs. Even basic chart plotters are unpacked and tested before installation to ensure trouble free operation once installed.
