Penelope II Rewire.
Next month we will rewire the classic Windermere launch Penelope II. Pictured here some years ago in the old Steamboat museum she has since undergone a major restoration by the team at Windermere Jetty.
Penelope II has been fitted with a new Beta Marine engine which we supplied three years ago. Part of our project is to remake the control panel to resemble the panel that was removed from her during the restoration.
Today she looks a bit different but she is scheduled to be launched on the first anniversary of the opening of Windermere Jetty on the 23rd March. The electricl design has been done and will feature a host of Victron equipment chosen for the reliability. The list comprises
Cyrix Battery Combiner Smart Battery Protect Combiner Diode for the Critical Systems.
In the past we have rewired the Steam Launch "Osprey" and the Classic Motor boat "Jane" all with Victron Energy products.
